This multi-purpose arena and exhibition facility includes an arena tied into the existing exhibition hall. Centrally located meeting rooms, food service preparation and a significant multi-purpose hospitality room space are also a part of this facility. These functions are readily accessible to the existing facilities as well as the new arena facility. A festive theme ties the entire complex together and is expressed in the building facades and the site design included in the 50 acres of master planned civic center.

The arena includes an ice floor and other facilities for minor league hockey. Within the new coliseum are a variety of spaces including a pre-function area, a sub-dividable hospitality room, V.I.P. entrance, food court/concession and novelty sales, administrative and ticketing facilities; 10 V.I.P suites as well as a variety of locker, press and service facilities. The design includes provisions for expansion to 15,000 seats. Also, the arena floor provides for 20,000 square feet of additional exhibit space.
