Resume Pt 1
YourBIM United
President
May 2019-Present YourBIM United- Charlotte NC
With a group of building information modelers, we have developed an association that provides Architects, Building Owners and Contractors with resources previously not available to them.
Mentoring and Teaching Architectural Firms:
o Sharing our experiences using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create large complex buildings such as airports, arenas, stadiums, pharmaceutical, hotels and mixed-use developments to help firms improve their project delivery.
o Teaching the staff to work more efficiently and helping them solve complex design issues.
o Providing a safety valve to complete projects behind schedule.
o Reviewing drawings and providing QC.
New Company Resources,
o We provide resources to help new Architectural firms starting out by creating modeling, construction documents and visualizations.
o We also provide training and mentoring as they grow.
Virtual Construction and BIM Coordination:
o Help contractors construct large complex buildings. Instead of relying on sub-contractors to provide BIM information. Our team can model Architectural, Structural, MEP and Fire Protection. Using one group can eliminate a lot of wasted time in coordination meetings because our team can make system coordination changes in real time. No need to wait for each sub to make their changes.
o Allow owners to visualize their buildings before occupying them with real-time walkthroughs and VR. This removes a lot of surprises and uncovers opportunities.
